ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI. A big 66 city like St. Louis deserves a report and a set of photos, even if I did bypass the downtown area in 2012. (Will all my baseball and Route 66 trips, I've been to St. Louis many times.) So here's the plan for St. Louis: After your walk across the Mississippi River on the Chain of Rocks Bridge, the original crossing for Route 66 which is now a pedestrian walkway and bike path, ride to the top of the Gateway Arch, where you can peer through tiny windows to the city below; walk around Kiener Plaza for some city sightseeing, and don't forget the Old Courthouse; then go see a Cardinals game (and the skyline) at Busch Stadium.
